SAUSAGE GRAVY

Breakfast

INGREDIENTS

  • sausage
    1 lb
  • flour
    1/2 cups
  • milk
    2 cups

STEPS

  1. Fry sausage until really brown, breaking up large pieces
  2. Add 1/3 to 1/2 cup flour (depending on desired thickness) and cook for about 1 minute to create a roux.
  3. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve over halved buttermilk biscuits.
