STEPS
- Sift 1.5 cups of flour and salt into a bowl. Cut in butter like a pie crust
- In a separate bowl, sift 1 cup flour and add egg yolks, vinegar, and water and bled well
- Combine both mixtures using a fork to blend well
- Wrap dough in lightly floured plastic wrap or foil and chill for at least 1 hr.
- Working with 1/3 of dough at a time, roll onto a floured surface to about 1/8 in. and cut with a 2.5" fluted cookie cutter
- Place 1/2 t. filling in center and fold over, pinching well
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 F for 10-12 minutes until lightly brown
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar
