EASTER PASTA PIE

INGREDIENTS

  • pasta
    3/4 lb
  • black pepper
    1 tsp
  • lard
    3 Tbsp
  • eggs
    5 quantity
  • salt
    1 1/2 tsp
  • mixed romano and parmesean, grated
    1/2 cups

STEPS

  1. Cook 2 cups elbow and 1 cup thin (linguini, spagh.) pasta until very soft without salt. Rinse with cold water, drain and squeeze
  2. Combine pepper, lard (can substitute margarine), eggs, salt, and cheese
  3. Mix with pasta and fill a greased, 2 quart baking pan
  4. Bake at 350 F for 1 hour or until crispy on top
